This wine was brought about to be a mix of an “old world style” which has minerality as a strong taste profile and also a blend of the “new world style” which is more tropical in character.
The reason for the name is that this is a key taste note that you would find in the wines. Gooseberries are small inconspicuous little berries but are full of flavor. We believe that this depicts exactly what we want from the wine inconspicuous in sight but full of flavor.
